You will also need:
- A bowl for mixing
- Craft foam
- A blacklight– you can use these flashlights or a blacklight fixture. My kids love using the flashlights!
- Then, add liquid starch in small amounts and mix, slowly adding more starch and mixing until the desired consistency is reached.
- Once the slime is formed remove it from the bowl and knead it with your hands. After a bit of kneading you will have gloriously bright, illuminating jack-o-lantern slime!
Add craft foam shapes, and the fun can begin!
My girls had a blast making oozing, glowing jack-o-lanterns and giggled uncontrollably as they played.
Tips & storage: Store your slime in an airtight container between play times, and it can be used again and again! Liquid starch can be hard to find in stores. We get ours online here. The neon paint that we use can be found online here. You can buy school glue in bulk online here.
