As the media reports on the resignation of the mayor of Seattle after a fifth accusation that he molested young boys in the 19780s and 90s, a report finds that up to 11 other U.S. mayors are charged with molesting children.
On Tuesday, Seattle Mayor Ed Murray resigned after a fifth accuser came forward to testify that the mayor had molested him when he was a teenager. The accuser was the mayor’s own cousin.
With the focus on the homosexual mayor’s resignation, the Daily Caller looked at a list of mayors accused of sexual misconduct.
At least 11 then-current and former mayors have been accused of child sex abuse-related crimes since 2016. The allegations range from child porn to physical abuse. The alleged victims were as young as four years old.
Daily Caller lists a slew of other U.S. mayors who have been accused of or resigned for, acts of sexual misconduct.
Mayor Rick Nelson of Stillwater, New York, resigned this month after years of accusations of molesting children, Daily Caller reported.
Then there is the case of Dale Kenyon, mayor of Clayton, New York, who was indicted on charges of sexually molesting a teenager over three years.
Next up, Dwayne Schutt, mayor of Randolph, Nebraska, was arrested on multiple charges of sexually assaulting a child.
Then, former Ohio mayor Richard Keenan, a Democrat, was sentenced to life in prison for raping a four-year-old girl.
Indeed, the Daily Caller piece goes on and on like these with one mayor after another proving to be a rapist and monster.
One will just have to add Seattle’s mayor to this ignominious list of offenders.
Fortunately, Murray won’t be missed. He has a long record of horrid liberal policies to go along with his charges of sexual molestation.
As Breitbart News reported this year:
Until the onslaught of accusations of sexual molestation, Murray was a poster boy for far-left policies. He has been a staunch defender of the city’s sanctuary city status and has a long history of fighting for progressive causes. When he was in the state legislature, for instance, he led the fight for the state to recognize gay marriage. And once elected Seattle’s mayor, Murray launched a campaign to push the city’s minimum wage to $15 an hour. Murray has also been a leading opponent of President Donald Trump, favoring efforts to torpedo the president’s immigration policies.
Yep, his resignation won’t be any loss at all!
